Benefits

Physical exfoliation with fine sour cherry shell powder.

Kaolin clay in a creamy scrub, massaged in with your fingertips.

For the occasional days your roots feel heavy or coated. No more than weekly.

Massage into a wet scalp, rinse thoroughly, then shampoo.
Why we made it
Some weeks your roots feel heavy no matter what. Part wet hair so the scrub reaches your scalp, massage gently, rinse every particle away, then shampoo.
Kaolin clay and fine sour cherry shell powder in a creamy scrub. Massage gently into a wet scalp, leave for 5 to 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly, then shampoo. Use no more than once a week. For a no-grit option, choose the scalp serum.
The ritual
Apply to wet hair and scalp.
Massage gently, focusing on the scalp. Use your fingertips, not your nails.
Leave in for 5 to 15 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly, then wash with the gloss shampoo and follow with the gloss conditioner on your ends.
How often: When your roots feel heavy or coated. Not more than once a week.
The formula
A natural clay that deeply cleanses buildup at the roots.

Finely ground sour cherry pits, a natural exfoliant you can feel working through buildup.

Botanical oils from organic farming that give the scrub its fresh scent.
Keeps the scalp comfortable after a deep clean.
A little more clarity
How do I get scalp scrub particles to the scalp?
What's the difference between the scalp serum and the scalp scrub?
This is a creamy scrub with clay and cherry shell particles. The serum exfoliates with lactic acid, without grit. Choose the texture you prefer and use one per wash; you do not need both.
Use it occasionally when your roots feel heavy or coated, no more than once a week. If shampoo alone leaves your scalp comfortable and clean, you can skip this step.
Apply to a wet scalp and massage gently with your fingertips. Leave for 5–15 minutes, rinse out the particles thoroughly, then wash with your usual shampoo. The scrub does not replace shampoo.
Use a light touch with your fingertips, rather than your nails. Avoid a sore or irritated scalp. If the scrub feels uncomfortable, rinse it off and stop using it.
No. It is a cosmetic scalp scrub, not a treatment for dandruff or another scalp condition. If flaking or itching keeps coming back, ask a dermatologist for advice.
We have not established color-treatment compatibility. Follow your colorist’s aftercare advice, and avoid exfoliating a scalp that feels sensitive after treatment.
It is nut-free and gluten-free. It is not vegan, because it contains keratin from sheep wool. The complete ingredients are listed above.
Vanilla and woody notes, with peppermint. It contains fragrance, so check the ingredient list if fragrance is a concern for you.
