Deep Repair Mask, Keratin Hair Mask

Why we made it

More care. Not another layer.

Five to ten minutes on your lengths while you get on with your shower. Rinse well and skip conditioner that day.

More conditioning. Not more steps.

When your ends feel rough, give them richer conditioning. Keratin, wheat protein, plant oils and shea butter help leave lengths softer and easier to manage. Apply to damp mid-lengths and ends for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse. It replaces conditioner that day; it doesn't mend split ends.

The ritual

How to use it

  1. After shampooing, squeeze the water out of your hair.

  2. Apply generously to mid-lengths and ends.

  3. Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.

  4. Rinse thoroughly. Use it instead of the conditioner that day.

How often: Once a week, or whenever your ends need it.

Helps reinforce damaged ends. Contains gluten.

  • Shea butter and vitamin E

    Shea butter and vitamin E

Rich, softening care for dry, rough-feeling ends.

  • Almond and plant oils

    Almond and plant oils

Avocado, coconut, evening primrose and sweet almond oils, from organic farming. Contains tree nut.

A little more clarity

The questions worth asking before you buy.

  • Do I need a mask and a conditioner in the same wash?

The PALIM approach · Keratin hair mask No. On mask day, the mask simply replaces your conditioner: 5 to 10 minutes on your lengths, then rinse.
  • Can a mask permanently repair split ends?

The PALIM approach · Keratin hair mask Only a trim removes a split end. The mask helps lengths feel smoother and easier to manage.

A few things worth knowing

Does it replace conditioner, and how often should I use it?

Yes—use it instead of conditioner on mask day, around once a week when your lengths need richer care. It is an optional step; if your everyday conditioner is enough, you do not need to add it.

Is it too rich for fine hair?

It is richer than everyday conditioner. Start with a small amount on the lengths and ends, away from the roots, and rinse thoroughly. If your hair feels coated or stiff, use less or less often.

How do I use it, and can I leave it on overnight?

After shampooing, squeeze excess water from your hair. Smooth the mask through damp mid-lengths and ends, leave for 5–10 minutes, then rinse. It is made for this short rinse-out step; we do not recommend overnight use.

Can I use it with my usual shampoo?

Yes. Keep your usual shampoo and use the mask where conditioner would normally go. You do not need a scalp treatment or another PALIM product for it to fit your routine.

Can it repair an existing split end?

It helps dry or damaged lengths feel smoother and look shinier. It cannot mend an existing split end; a trim removes the split.

What should I know about allergies and vegan ingredients?

It contains sweet almond oil, a tree nut, and hydrolyzed wheat protein. Please avoid it if you are allergic to either. It also contains keratin from sheep wool, so it is not vegan.

Does it contain silicones?

No. Its conditioning formula includes shea butter, plant oils, keratin and wheat protein. The complete ingredient list is above.

What does it smell like?

White floral, with creamy tuberose on a fruity background. It contains fragrance.
